In 1988, Martin started his gaming career at Burswood Resort Casino, Perth Western Australia. During his 29 years in the industry, Martin has worked in various areas of table game operations.
Martin was part of the set up teams at Burswood Resort who catered to the first junkets from Asia. He also worked in a number of European plus cruise ship casino operations in the Czech Republic and South East Asia in the capacity of middle management.
In 1990 Martin joined Carnival Cruise Lines to expand his travel and gaming ambitions, which lead to experiencing different cultures and style of operations.
Martin returned to South East Asia in 1992 joining International Casino Services in a middle management role, who had contracts with cruise ship casinos out of Singapore and Hong Kong.
Martin was offered a position with an independent casino group in Czech Republic and joined in the capacity of Assistant Casino Manager from 1994 until 2001.
Martin returned to Crown Perth in 2002 until 2017 working primarily in the VIP room catering to international High Rollers and Junkets.
Martin brings a wealth of gaming operations experience relevant to start up operations and has sound knowledge of operational policies and procedures.
Martin has worked closely with a number of gaming management systems utilized for tracking customer play to determine true value and security aspects in terms of game protection.
Martin has sound knowledge of key table games from both a training and analytical perspective with design and implementation of training modules. Having travelled throughout his career, Martin understands the importance of cultural differences and can adapt to any environment or landscape required.
